Pet silhouettes are made from sturdy 11 gauge premium weathering steel. They are designed to develop a beautiful rust that will change over time. This silhouette will develop their patina if left in the weather or frequently exposed to wet conditions. The color of the patina should change over time, starting as brighter orange tones and changing to darker brown tones.
Tips: Silver will change over time, black will not rust.

Our Story
The first puppy silhouette was inspired by my dogs Marley and Daisy. I spent a lot of time with them while I was off work around the holidays and was inspired to create something in their likeness. Specifically, I wanted to create something that would showcase their unique personalities.

I chose Corten steel for its weathering properties so each metal rescue would become more unique as it develops its rust patina. After receiving positive feedback and many requests from friends and family, I opened up the Puppy Art shop in spring of 2020.
